DIN font is a signage font that is legible and easy to reproduce in industrial and slightly severe look as a mark or symbol. DIN indicates Deutsches Institut fr Normung, German Institute for Standardization, and is applied in the packaging half-life but now used in various jobs. There are two types of it: the DIN 1451 and FF DIN. The DIN 1451 is designed in 1936 for road and railway mark, which remains using in German number plates until 2000, while FF DIN designed by Albert-Jan Pool becomes versatile as its available to advertising, printing, editing and so on for it is characterized by 20 weights, normal and condensed styles (including italics).
